Project: Serenity Pharmaceuticals

Description: Heights principals founded Serenity Pharmaceuticals in 2005 and successfully brought the drug through FDA approval.  The drug named Noctiva, licensed by Avadel in 2017 is the first and only FDA approved product for nocturia due to nocturnal polyuria.  Nocturnal polyuria is the overproduction of urine at night and leads to the condition of nocturia which causes patients to wake two or more times per night to void.  Estimates show that nocturia affects approximately 40 million people in the U.S. and represents a large unaddressed and unmet medical need.

Noctiva is the first and only formulation of desmopressin acetate, a vasopressin analog approved by the FDA for the treatment of nocturia.  It is a proprietary low-dose formulation of desmopressin acetate administered through a patent-protected preservative-free intranasal delivery system.

Project: Brooklyn Cat Café

Description: Brooklyn's first Cat Café and the only one in New York area run by a 501c3 animal rescue, Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, Inc.  Heights established the first shelter in one of their properties which led to the café. The principals of Heights were instrumental in creating the café and animal shelter and continues to be staple of the organization.

Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition (BBAWC) was founded by a group of animal rescuers in 2007 with a focus on improving the welfare of abandoned animals in Brooklyn.  Finding foster homes for rescued cats and those accepted from city shelters became the organization’s top priority so the organization launched The Brooklyn Cat Cafe to address this need in 2016.  By their one-year anniversary in May of 2017, the cafe had welcomed over 35,000 visitors — an average of over 95 visitors and placed over 250 cats in permanent adoptive homes.

Project: Heights Solar

Description:  As a sponsor and developer, we are creating small Solar Communities in New York City which allow residents to purchase solar power at less cost than Con Edison, without being locked into long term purchase agreements. 

Subscribers have the ability to keep their benefit of being part of the solar community when they move within NYC.
